Can I look at my birth certificate online for free?

The only way you would be able to see it is where it is filed usually the county seat. I believe you have to buy it before you can see it.Some prices vary. Why not ask your mom for a copy?

Cannot be viewed online. You would have to go to the county of your birth ot see your certificate.

If you were born in NY here’s how to get a copy of your birth certificate.

They’re not available to just anyone to look at. What if someone stole your identity.

You would have to contact the municipality you were born in, which would either be a village, or if there is no village, then a town or city. Also, it is possible that this varies by municipality, but my birth certificate does not show the exact time I was born, it just shows the date.
